He is redux/rebooting the game, which means he is cutting corners to make the updates come faster, that means alot of character roots, scenes and free roaming are bring removed from the game to make it more linear and easier for developer. He released a update on his patreon which is basically a watered down version of the current game, and no continuation to the story..
Love the route this is taking. Kinda missing Thomy, I remember back in the old version you could intereact with him. BTW I think I kinda bugged the game? After spending the day at the beach with Miguel he simply banished and I couldn't progress any longer with the day. Any way to go to the smoking area with only him?

How do you save your game? If I close out the game, I have to start all over.
Press ESC and go to Save Game.
